GfK has carried out a comprehensive analysis of the European retail scene in 32 European countries. The study examines purchasing power, the retail share of private consumption, inflation and sales area productivity, and also includes a turnover prognosis for 2018.
This year's study features a special chapter on Hungary in which we examine how regulatory conditions affect retail development in this country’s dynamic market. For the first time, we include a section on Europe’s fashion retail segment, which faces threats from e-commerce, among other things.
